Creating a character takes a lot of work. As a previous filmmaker and now a photographer, I know that every character we see on screen is a creation not only by the person who is performing it but also by a lot of people behind it.
When my sister was asked to model for a character-based makeup by @anniemakeups_ on Instagram, I thought it would be a great idea to take this photo, in which she would appear giving the actress the final retouches while she was playing the role of the character (which was a remake of Harley Quinn). Since the only thing usually noticeable from a character is the person who plays it, I wanted it to be the only thing in color in the photo, while the makeup artist was in black and white, and the photographer was non-visible, behind the camera.
