This is the first series I ever took. In some cultures, women have to cover their faces completely. There are other cultures in which women are not allowed to show their real hair, having to use wigs to cover it. On the other hand, in most cultures, men don't have to cover any part of their faces. For this series I wanted to invert that prohibition, covering the man's face with fabric, while the women were doing it with their real hair while showcasing it.
