This was the first photo series I took since I decided to become more focused on conceptual series. It started with the PRD photo in a regular portrait photo session. I had always had in mind the idea of doing my own version of the famous seven deadly sins and when I saw the final photos of the session I realized I had the first draft of Pride. I edited the photo to reach the aesthetic I wanted, trying to make the skin as raw as possible, to portray a rough version of a regular portrait. I continued with a self portrait posing for Lust, setting the final aesthetic for the series, and moved on to reach out to different models to portray the rest of the sins.
The name of the series and each picture comes from the word "sins" and each sin, taking out all the vowels of the words, creating a new name for them that is almost impossible to pronounce. That way, those socially dreaded sins are harder to even think about.
