Kaleidoscope Series

One of the first artistic photo I liked to do was a repetition of an image creating a Kaleidoscope from it. I did it once or twice before returning to regular portraits, and since lockdown, during pandemic, I brought back that idea and created different kaleidoscopes with different meanings. Since I uploaded them on my Instagram and I didn't like how the feed looked going from a full kaleidoscope to a single image, I created them with fewer and fewer images repeated until there were only two, as in human figures in cards.

First Kaleidoscope

This was the original kaleidoscope, asking the model to do a strange position so I could use her hair as the center and connection of each part of the circle.

Straight Lines Circle

For this kalidoscope I wanted to use straight lines with my hands, uniting them to create a circle in the middle, showing that even things that look straight can look curved with an optical illusion.

Ups and Downs Circle

During lockdown (and always really) my mood and energy levels go up and down depending on each moment. With this photo, I wanted to represent the circular "roller coaster" of emotions and energy levels.

Self-Punishment Circle

The only thing worse than someone stabbing you in the back (metaphorically speaking) is when you do it to yourself. And when we are our worst enemies, we know exactly where to hurt deeper.

Speaking Art Square

Music, and art itself, is used not only to express creativity but also to express what shouldn't be said. In this photo, I wanted to portray the idea of someone being forced to stay silent while the T-shirt shows clearly the word "music" as if it was saying what the person can't.

Addictive Square

In Spanish, "addiction" is the same as "vicio" and we have the expression "vicious circle". For this image, I wanted to change the circle for a square and use something that's very addictive for me, a sweet called "Bon o Bon", made in Argentina.

Cardinal Direction Square

I do archery, and with my bow and arrow, I wanted to create my own Weather Vane with an arrow pointing in each cardinal direction, to portray all the possible paths we can take every day.

Mirrored Dog

One of the main characters in my life story is my dog. I already did a photo series with him (heritage), but I wanted to take him in a duplicated position.

Mirrored Thinker

A version of a thinker, with the right side of my face and body creating a slightly "S" shape with the curve on my back.

Mirrored Love

With the T-shirt from Size Matters Series, I wanted to create a circle out of a rainbow, with the inscription of the shirt that reads "I hate everyone" and a happy face.
